TransparentSmoke Review: So Alberta Distillers makes no difference between the World Whisky of the year and this Second Edition. And I wouldn’t either if I was in charge of the money making machine at Alberta Distillers. But there is a difference… This 2nd Edition is a little hotter and that detracts a little from it’s over all impression. Let it air or make a cocktail (yup I said that). I can find this bottle around Edmonton easily for under $100.
I would recommend that you buy them all when you can find them. The problem with near perfect products like this is that eventually the manufactures will change it to save a dollar and this…this should never be changed.
I’m going to say it because most of the reviews I read said it too, I love the screw top. But only because it is unique in a time where cork is used to indicate quality.
